The Best Photographers and Digital Enhancers

In The Beginning…

…There was Marte Lundby Rekaa. Now MLR PHOTO has a growing team of young, talented photographers and digital enhancers. Born, in photographic terms, in the digital age, they all understand how to exploit the medium to its fullest.

MLR PHOTO is devoted to encouraging young talent; at any time there will be interns on the team, learning how to put amateur or college-learned skills to work in the competitive and critical commercial environment.

Marte Lundby Rekaa. Bachelor of Photography.

Norwegian by birth, Marte finds inspiration from the sparse clean Scandinavian design ethic. Born (almost) with a camera in her hand, photography is her passion and her way of life. Studies and work have taken her around the world from Spain to Australia (she won the Kodak Australasia Prize in 2005). Now based permanently in London her rapidly growing client list includes names like Universal, Russell Brand, Barclays Bank and the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining.

Charlotte Wiig, Associate of the Royal Photographic Society, Bachelor of Arts, Post Graduate Diploma in Arts.

Charlotte is an experienced press photographer, working for national dailies and magazines. Although her main field of work is photojournalism, she handles challenging commissions for commercial clients, PR companies and individuals. She is passionately involved in the training interns, and works personally in creating exhibitions of themed images.

Moz Bulbeck, Bachelor of Photography

Australian Moz has been with MLR Photo almost from day one. "Photography is the one thing I am completely at home with. But I very much respect the privilege of being a photographer. A camera opens doors that lead to private places in peoples’ worlds. I will never underestimate what a great honour it is being given the trust of those who let me in. It’s a trust I repay by creating images with which they identify totally."

Weronica Ingman

Another Scandinavian, Weronika originally studied film but decided to change direction and applied for an internship with MLR Photo. We spotted her eye for detail, her never give-up attitude and her ability to produce exciting images. She also has consummate digital skills and takes as much computer time as necessary to produce photographs that exactly meet the client’s brief.

Joe Wilcocks

Before joining the MLR PHOTO team Joe split his career between ski instruction in Austria and carpentry in Exeter, a life-style that meant changing address twice a year. Joe was an accomplished amateur photographer; we were very impressed by his eye and his skill, and he has already proven that he can deliver to a professional level. Joe loves anything that moves fast or climbs high and wants to specialise in extreme sport photography.

Henry Merewether

Henry our latest intern is originally from Kent. After finishing his photography studies in Oxford, Henry moved to London to pursue life as a photographer. With a great interest for photography Henry absorbs new knowledge every day, and we are excited to follow him on his journey towards becoming a professional photographer.
